Temperature and consumption

Consumption lives up to expectations set at 68 W idle and 261 W at full performance. All this playing with an Intel Core i7-6700k processor and air dissipation. It's great!

The temperatures of the KFA2 GTX 1070 HOF are really good, we have obtained 33ºC and it reaches a maximum of 55ºC playing in 4K resolutions. As the overclocking has been quite moderate, because we did not want to force them, the temperatures have barely risen to 61º C.

The KFA2 GTX 1070 HOF is one of the best graphics cards on the market that we have tested this year. It has a spectacular design, brutal performance and incredible overclocking ability.

In our tests we have verified that it is capable of moving any game in 2K to Ultra and in 4K it defends itself as a champion. The results in overclocking have been really good, since as we mentioned just by enabling a greater range of TDP and PowerLimit, the graphics has only reached 2080 MHz, while with overclocking we have overcome the 2.1 GHz barrier… although we are surely you could scratch something else.

Regarding refrigeration, it is great, since it barely reaches 33ºC at rest and 55º at maximum power. It has a beautiful design and offers RGB lighting that gives an incredible touch to our system.

It is not one of the cheapest GTX 1070 that we have seen but its 525 euros for sale stands out somewhat from the average, but it compensates for all its features. A 100% recommended purchase.
