Today we are dealing with a device that we could classify as a multipurpose technological knife, the Kingston MobileLite Wireless G2, a small device that surprises with the large number of functions it is capable of. In the first place, it works as a memory card reader and wireless pendrives that will allow us to access the files stored in them from smartphones, tablets and computers. Secondly, it works like a powerbank thanks to its integrated battery, so we can charge our smartphone and even our tablet. Finally it is able to work even as a wireless router. Does anyone give more?
First of all, we thank Kingston for the trust placed in us by giving us the Kingston MobileLite Wireless G2 for analysis.

On the front we find three LEDs that indicate the level of charge, the activity of the WiFi network and a third that lights up when starting the device next to them, the on and off button and the MicroUSB port are located.
On the left side we find the USB port to connect a pendrive and an SD slot in which we will connect a memory card to view its contents. At the back we find a 10/100 Ethernet network port to use the Kingston MobileLite Wireless G2 as a wireless router. Finally a snapshot of the bottom where we find the MAC address along with various quality certificates and other information.

Powerbank that gets us out of trouble…
The Kingston MobileLite Wireless G2 also works as an interesting powerbank thanks to its integrated 4, 640 mAh battery that will allow the full recharge of most of the smartphones and tablets on the market. Take it with you and you will never be thrown away!
WE RECOMMEND YOU Asus R9 390 Strix ReviewOf course, its battery is not limited to acting as a powerbank, thanks to it we can have the Kingston MobileLite Wireless G2 working disconnected from the electrical network for up to 13 hours.
Router mode
Finally we come to the last but no less interesting function of the Kingston MobileLite Wireless G2, we can use it as a small wireless router, perfect for when we are away from home. Thanks to its 10/100 Ethernet connector port you can connect it to the network of any place where you are, such as a hotel where you are staying or a country house where you spend your holidays with your friends.
The Kingston MobileLite Wireless G2 will generate its own wireless network so you can connect to the internet in a more secure way without your device being in full view of everyone connected to the network of the place where you are.
Also supports the connection of 3G / 4G modems through its USB port so if you have one of these devices you can use the Kingston MobileLite Wireless G2 as a router to connect several PCs, smartphones or tablets. It offers a very basic routing with hardly any configuration options but that will be enough, we cannot ask for more from this gadget.
Final words and conclusion
The Kingston MobileLite Wireless G2 is a very interesting gadget that will allow us to play our multimedia files and view photos saved in various media from any device that has a web browser and / or an application is available. It also integrates a generous battery that will serve as a powerbank to recharge our smartphones and tablets and, last but not least, it will also serve as a portable wireless router when we are away from home and have a wired internet connection. The truth is that nobody offers more for its very competitive price of approximately 33 euros.
