Gigabyte has announced the launch of a new graphics card based on Nvidia's recently officially announced GeForce GTX 1070 Ti. The new Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 Ti will work with an advanced Windforce 2X heatsink.

This new version Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 Ti mounts a custom heatsink with two 90mm fans in charge of generating the necessary air flow to keep temperatures under control. The Pascal architecture is very efficient, so with two fans it is more than enough for a card that aims at a very competitive upper midrange.

This WindForce 2X heatsink allows for a more compact design than models that use three fans, something that will be highly valued by small box users or who simply prefer smaller, lighter designs.

The new Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 Ti is powered by a single 8-pin PCI Express connector and comes with an overclocking mode that is activated by software to improve performance in an extremely simple way, of course without posing any risk to the health of the card and its components. This overclocking mode will boost the operating frequency of the graphics core to 1721 MHz, a slight improvement over the 1683 MHz of its turbo mode.

Of course it will come with 8GB of GDDR5 memory with a 256-bit interface and a speed of 8000MHz, which translates to an approximate bandwidth of 256GB / s. Finally we highlight its video outputs in the form of 1x Dual Link DVI-D, 1x HDMI and 3x DisplayPort.
