Gigabyte confirms that NVIDIA's next-generation GeForce laptop GPUs are expected to be ready by the end of 2018
The confirmation comes from the Gigabyte representative at OCUK (via Videocardz), who calls himself Atom80 . The representative stated in a response to a forum member that he will not make any further changes to his current AORUS lineup. The lineup as such won't see an update until the next GPU lineup is announced and currently slated for later this year.
The forum member asked about a particular model which is the Aero 15X V8-CF1. This variant uses NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB graphics and an Intel 6-core processor. Based on this information, the Gigabytes rep is definitely talking about NVIDIA's new generation of graphics for the notebook platform.
NVIDIA is expected to announce Turing-based graphics cards in the middle of this year first, and a few months later, the same cards, but for laptops, as has always been the case. We will be aware of all the news of the next GeForce.
