Huawei grows at a great rate
A surprising fact in 2018 is that the fourth quarter of the year was not a good one. This is normally the period when smartphone sales skyrocket. Although many brands sold less in that period of the year. In the case of Huawei, both sales increased in the fourth quarter and in the total for the year. Especially the annual total is important.
In 2017, the Chinese brand sold some 150 million phones worldwide. Last year, in 2018, this figure increased significantly to reach 202 million devices sold. An enormous growth, which makes clear the advancement of the Chinese brand.
Not only Huawei had a good year in the market. Also another brand like Xiaomi had remarkable sales growth. They sold 122 million units in 2018, a good increase from the 88 million they had the previous year. Chinese brands advance at a good pace.
