Although Lenovo is preparing a high-quality Chromebook with a 4K UHD screen, don't forget those with a more limited budget. That is why they are presenting the Chromebook Ideapad C330 and Ideapad S330, all priced below $ 300 and built for applications in the Android Play store.

Ideapad C330 and S330 Chromebooks will cost under $ 300

The main difference between the two is the fact that the C330 is a 'convertible' model. This time, Lenovo has changed the name of its brand. I will no longer use Yoga to name the models that are convertible or laptop-tablet hybrids. Instead they are using prefixes, like the "C". However, the S330's "S" refers to "slim, " which has a slimmer profile than other notebooks. In fact, it only measures 325.7 x 232.35 x 20.8 mm. Meanwhile, the C330 measures 292 x 215.39 x 19.6mm, which oddly is thinner than the S330, but good.

Both the S330 and C330 replace the previous Yoga 330, although the specifications remain relatively the same. The two share a MediaTek 8173C @ 2.1GHz Quad Core ARM processor with 4GB of LPDDR3 memory. Storage can be 32GB or 64GB eMMC.

As for the display options, IdeaPad C330 is only available on an 11.6-inch screen with Touch IPS and resolution 1366 x 768 pixels. On the other hand, the S330 is available with a 14-inch 1366 x 768 TN or 14-inch screen with 1920 x 1080 TN resolution.

Both have a 10 hour battery life, HDMI, card reader, 1x USB 3.0 Type A, and 1x USB Type C. This Type C port can supply power, be used for storage or display output.

How much will they cost?

The IdeaPad S330 starts at a starting price of $ 250, while the C330 convertible will cost about $ 280.
