Lenovo IdeaPad 530S now with AMD Ryzen and Vega

This leak has occurred by Roland Quandt of WinFuture, the new Lenovo IdeaPad 530S will include second generation Ryzen processors, ranging from a Ryzen 3 2200U to a Ryzen 7 2700U, along with integrated graphics based on Radeon Vega technology. These new devices powered by AMD will join the Intel-based ones, to offer users a greater offer to choose from.

These new Lenovo IdeaPad 530S computers come in a very slim form factor, at just 16.4mm thick and weighing 1.49kg, making them ideal for users who need to travel and get around a lot with their gear. Lenovo IdeaPad 530S promises up to eight hours of battery life, a pretty good number but one that doesn't stand out on a PC with a 14-inch 1080p 1080p display. The manufacturer has implemented Rapid Charge technology, which will offer two hours of use on a 15-minute charge.

The processor can be accompanied with up to 16 GB of DDR4 memory and up to 512 GB of storage based on M.2 technology for great speed and fluidity. The built-in speakers will be from Harman and feature Dolby Audio, so the sound quality should be pretty good. As for connectivity, the device will include a single USB 3.1 Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI video output, a 4-in-1 card reader, and a 3.5mm jack for audio and mic.

For now, prices have not been announced.
