Lenovo is presenting an assortment catalog of new devices but it does not forget to renew some models that have been a great success over the past year, we are talking about the ThinkPad X1 Carbon, which is suffering from a material update for 2017.

Lenovo has managed to improve various aspects of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon, starting with making it slimmer and lowering the weight of the carbon fiber chassis. Now it is about 15.95 mm thick and 1.14 kilograms. This decrease in weight and thickness does not make you lose the MIL-SPEC certification, so it is still a very resistant notebook.

The screen is 13 inches and Lenovo gives the option of incorporating two different panels, Full HD or WQHD of 2560 × 1440 pixels. Now the ThinkPad X1 Carbon will use Intel's new seventh generation processors, up to 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD.

The connectivity section is also updated with two Thunderbolt 3 / USB Type-C ports, another two USB 3.0, HDMI, memory card reader and Ethernet connector. Optionally, Lenovo is offering an IR camera for use with Windows Hello, a fingerprint reader, NFC and a 4G LTE-A mobile broadband.

The autonomy would be about 15.5 hours according to Lenovo and will be available in February with a price of $ 1, 349 for the basic model.
