LG will supply 20 million lcd screens and 4 million oled to apple

LG has become one of the main suppliers of Apple. A few weeks ago it was rumored that the South Korean firm was going to provide Apple with OLED screens for the new iPhones of the American firm. Something that seems to be confirmed. Although not only will OLED screens be what the Koreans are going to provide to the Cupertino firm.

Since LG is selling huge amounts of screens to Apple. In the case of LCD screens, the amount so far is 20 million. While in the case of OLED panels, which will reach the most expensive iPhone models, 4 million units have already been sold to the Cupertino-based company.

LG is not the only company that Apple buys panels from. Since for LCD panels they also bet on a Japanese firm, called Display. While OLED screens, the rest of screens that do not buy from LG, buy them from Samsung, one of its main providers.
