The popular Anglo-Saxon site has made a list of the best CEOs of the 2010s, at its discretion, where we can get Lisa Su from AMD with a special mention of her work since she took over the reins of the red company in 2014.
Lisa Su is named as one of the CEOs of the decade, there are also Satya Nadella and Jeff Bezos
Before talking about Lisa Su, ZDNet added Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella to this list as one of the CEOs of the decade.
Microsoft started the decade as a company that could have lost some of its business clout. Today, Microsoft is arguably more important to the business as it scales Azure, leverages Office, and becomes a major player in applications such as customer relationship management software. Not to mention Windows, which is no longer its main differential factor.
Nadella replaced Steve Ballmer in 2014, and the company was not exactly in crisis, but needed to focus. Nadella brought the focus, sharpened Azure, acquired LinkedIn, and established the company's north star in productivity. It also focused on renewing Microsoft's culture.
ZDNet also listed Jeff Bezos, Amazon CEO, Andy Jassy, AWS CEO, and Werner Vogels, AWS CTO.
AWS stresses that the cloud is a team sport. You cannot credit a single executive for the success of the AWS service. Sure, Bezos launched this science project with the customer-obsessed DNA of the e-commerce giant. But AWS CEO Jassy is scaling the company and has been in charge since 2006 as a senior vice president before being named CEO in 2016. Vogels as CTO is the technology visionary. We could also name Adam Selipsky, who was the head of operations for AWS before leaving to take on the role of CEO of Tableau in 2016.
AWS is currently the most widely used cloud platform in the world and it doesn't look like that will change anytime soon.
The rebirth of AMD by Lisa Su
Finally we have Lisa Su, who was named AMD CEO in 2014. A few years ago, AMD could barely compete with Intel, not only on the desktop (remember FX processors?), But also at the enterprise level. Today, thanks to Lisa Su's vision, AMD is very strong on the desktop with its Ryzen processors. It is strong in the HEDT market with Threadripper and is gaining a lot of ground in the business sector with its EPYC platform.

At the end of the decade, AMD is in its best position since the glory days of the turn of the century with Athlon chips. Few companies can boast of having the same compute and silicon quality in the GPU, and as the world progresses with deep learning and AI workloads, that combination could be powerful. For the company, AMD's resurgence is good news. Why? AMD offers a second option for both Intel and Nvidia. Lisa Su appears to have laid the groundwork for AMD to compete with Intel and Nvidia in the next decade, even outperform them.
