Logitech G Pro Wireless is one of the top products of the brand, a mouse exclusively designed for the best gaming performance equipped with the latest technology of the brand. This equipment mounts the top range optical sensor, the Logitech Hero 16K, capable of obtaining resolutions between 100 and 16000 DPI. A range of resolutions that will allow us to play on any type of screen or with multi-screen mounts.

Logitech is distinguished from most brands, in that it manufactures its own sensors and they are not exactly bad, just the opposite. The equipment will be designed to withstand accelerations greater than 40 G and maximum speeds of 400 ips. This means that the precision in fast movements will be very good.

Logitech G Pro Wireless is a wireless mouse, and will not therefore be slower or more imprecise than wired ones. It has a response speed of 1000 Hz or 1 ms and mounts a 32-bit ARM processor to support this refresh rate and LIGHSPEED wireless technology.

On both sides we have two buttons of small size and very well located so that we do not need to move our fingers too much for their operation. All the buttons that we have seen will be perfectly programmable through the Logitech Gaming Software brand software, as well as other aspects.

Grip and sensitivity tests on movement

Because it is a team specially designed for gaming, we strictly see it necessary to talk about its performance in some gaming and precision tests.

The Logitech G Pro Wireless measures are 125 x 63.5 x 40 mm and has a weight of only 80 grams, despite being a wireless device. Its light weight is noticed just by grabbing it for the first time. We must say that if we do not have a mat, the movements of the mouse will be extremely fast, to the point of needing our outer fingers to brake on the surface of the table.

The ideal grip of this mouse with one hand like mine of 190 x 100 mm is of the Claw Grip or claw type, since it is a rather narrow and short mouse, although it is long and the palm type grip, although it is very good, it makes me forced. On the other hand, with the fingertip grip or figertip grip it is also quite comfortable to use, with a good mat we will get a lot out of the super fast movements that we can do in this grip.

Despite its ambidextrous design, it is a really comfortable and versatile mouse to play practically any game, be it RPG or Shooter, its low weight and easy grip, make it ideal in my opinion. The front buttons are huge and that makes things a lot easier.

We have carried out a series of typical tests to check different aspects of the equipment's performance. To test the variance of the movement, we have used the Paint tool to draw a line with the mouse located in a physically preset area and at different speeds. Accuracy is simply perfect by ignoring failures caused by ourselves. In the past we have done, all of them have occupied the same extension.

In pixel skipping tests we have not detected absolutely any step or jump of pixels. The high-resolution sensor already promises us immaculate performance.

Tracking tests at high speeds during gaming tests are also perfect , no jittering or pixel skipping is detected. The 1000Hz Polling rate does its job perfectly. To force the team a little more, we have made quick passes by lifting and supporting the mouse and neither the pointer nor the position of the player are altered in the least when making contact with the surface.

Undoubtedly all the tests have been passed in the best possible way as it should be in a mouse with these benefits.

Firmware and configuration

We have installed the Logitech Gaming Software program that will provide us with all the configuration options for this Logitech G Pro Wireless.

Although, first of all, the manufacturer makes it clear that this device will not have any type of movement filter or corner detection. It is a gaming team, so these filters do not make sense.
