Logitech comes to us loaded with gifts, bringing us this time the Logitech G Pro X, a Gaming headset with capital letters and a sound of scandal. Let's go see them!
We have all used a Logitech product in our lives and it is that the Swedish company stands out for being present in all areas of peripherals.
Unboxing Logitech G Pro X
On this occasion, the product to be analyzed comes to us as part of the Logitech Influencer Pack, which includes a base in which to leave the headphones when they are not in use. However, you can also purchase the Logitech G Pro X autonomously.
The box in this pack features a plastic sleeve with the screen-printed Logitech logo. Once we remove it, we can see that the matte black cardboard box is chest type and when we open it we have both the base and the box of the Logitech G Pro X itself.
The headphone packaging continues the aesthetic that Logitech is used to: a satin black case with prominent details with reflective resin. On its cover we already receive an image of the Logitech G Pro X accompanied by the brand logo and Blue Vo! Ce software certificate.
On both sides of the box for its part we reiterate the headset model along with its technical specifications and information regarding the presence of Logitech in the E-Sport.
On the back of the box we are shown the Play to Win motto accompanied by glossy black texts that list some of the characteristics of the headphones.
The moment we open it, we are greeted by a matte cardboard structure where the Logitech G Pro X come wrapped in a white plastic case. Also at a glance we can see the USB port adapter for PC.
The total content of the box is summarized in:
- Logitech G Pro X 3.5mm Mixed Cable 3.5mm Mixed Mobile Cable 3.5mm Splitter Extender Built-in Sponge Microphone Documentation & Guide Headphone Pad Replacement
Logitech G Pro X Headphone Design
Before going on to explain the headphones, we will briefly comment on the design of the support included in the Influencer Pack . It consists of a black steel and aluminum structure with the Logitech logo engraved on both the base and the vertical support.
The Logitech G Pro X are made from a combination of aluminum, steel and plastic, reaching a total weight of 320g.
The supraural band
The Logitech G Pro X headband is steel with considerable flexibility. Its entire structure is covered with a memory foam with a leatherette touch and finished in sewn thread. On its upper part we can see the name of the Pro series printed on the material itself.
The padding on the inner face of the arch is slightly fluffier instead and no change in texture is seen. The termination of both ends is made of a matte black plastic piece.
The following is the fork part that includes in its structure the extenders and the hinges that provide mobility to the headphones. This piece is rigid matt black.
On the levels of extension, the Logitech G Pro X has nine points in total marked with a white screen-printed line.
The hinges allow the headphones vertical mobility of around 45º, but due to the structure of the headphones, they do not have a horizontal pivot point.
However, thanks to the internal steel band on the headband we have the option of a lot of flexibility without fear that materials such as plastic will deform or split with use.
The headphones
Moving on to talk about headphones, these are made with different finishes.
The first thing that catches our attention is the central circular piece in aluminum, untreated with the Imagologist and circumference polished to simulate a mirror surface.
From there the rest of the structure is made of matte black plastic. In the left earpiece we can see the 3.5mm jack of the removable microphone and the sound cable.
Continuing with the pads, the one that is placed by default is memory foam memory with leatherette touch and black color. They are quite soft and soft to the touch and the internal space for the automatic canopy is quite generous.
Another strength of the Logitech G Pro X is that a second visco-elastic pair is available in the box , this time lined in fabric.
We therefore confirm that both linings are interchangeable and we can perform a dry cleaning for maintenance. The structure of the 50mm drivers is visible, allowing you to observe some safety indications engraved as well as seals such as the European Quality Certificate.
The microphone
We go on to talk about the microphone. This connects to the left earphone through a 3.5 jack with reinforced plastic socket.
The structure of the spiral wire has two advantages: on the one hand, it has great flexibility without sacrificing resistance, while on the other hand it very well preserves the position we decide to give it.
The unidirectional microphone comes to us covered with a black sponge that we can remove if we are not in favor of its use.
The cables
Regarding the wiring, the first joy comes to us that both are braided fiber and a very good length.
- The PC cable, 200cm long. Cable for mobile devices, with 150cm.
As an addition we have the 3.5 jack splitter extender for sound and microphone in the event that our computer does not have a mixed socket.
The USB adapter
In order to use the Logitech G HUB software it is necessary that we connect our Logitech G Pro X using the USB type A adapter that we find in the box.
This USB connector consists of a piece of black plastic with the Logitech logo engraved in a resinous black finish. It has a USB type A output port and 3.5 jack input, this is where we must connect our mixed PC cable.
Using the Logitech G PRO X headphones
By default these headphones have stereo 2.0 sound, the Surround option being available on PC through the USB adapter and using the Logitech G HUB software.
Ergonomically, the Logitech G Pro X have been very comfortable for us. Although the padding of the headband is not the softest we have used, the headphone linings, on the other hand, have been very satisfactory. The texture and softness of the leatherette-type fabric is undoubtedly our favorite, and for those users who tend to feel uncomfortable with them due to sweat, they can always be exchanged for fabric replacements.
Moving on to talk about the sound quality, the 50mm drivers are noticeable, a lot. We think that part of its good quality is that the structure that covers them has good-sized perforations, which makes the sound come to us in a much more direct way.
In general we receive quite balanced tones. Obviously we can not expect the same quality of bass as in studio headphones, but what convinces us most about the sound is its depth and absence of background noise.
On the microphone, the sound recording quality has pleasantly surprised us. We do not perceive any static or electric residue in the voice when speaking or during pauses or prolonged silences. We consider it to be probably one of the best removable microphones we have ever used.
We conclude our usage impressions by talking about your passive noise cancellation. In general the in-ear headphones sound very good in this field and the Logitech G Pro X could not be less. The efficiency of its insulation undoubtedly comes to us thanks to the density of the foam used in the linings, managing to completely eliminate any distant sound source and greatly attenuate our closest environment.
software
The first time we connect Logitech G Pro X and install the software, you may need to restart your operating system. The Logitech G HUB software applied to the Logitech G Pro X receives us with three main panels: microphone, equalizer and acoustics.
- Microphone: We can do recording tests to check the audio quality and apply your own settings independently.
- Equalizer: allows you to set sound modes according to what you are doing (listen to music, watch a series or play games) and create and save profiles.
- Acoustic: activates and calibrates surround sound.

Final words and conclusions about Logitech G PRO X
What have we found after use? To be honest, we have put quite a bit into these headphones. We have taken them to the streets and we have seen movies, played games and listened to music with them. Its performance has never been less than exceptional.
We recommend reading: Best gaming headphones.
Aspects that have convinced us the least are, for example, the absence of a horizontal hinge. This is saved to a certain extent since the supraural band has great flexibility, but we know that there are users who will miss them. The software, on the other hand, is a versatile complement for the most dedicated gamers, although it is restricted to the USB connection to the PC while the rest will only have the basic stereo mode (something usual, if we are honest).
Similarly, there are many factors that make the Logitech G Pro X quality headphones:
- 50mm drivers. Premium materials and finishes. Removable and good sounding microphone. Braided and long cables. They have integrated sound regulators. Dual splitter extender (also braided). USB adapter for PC. Advanced software for the most devoted players. Interchangeable lining between leatherette and fabric.
Apart from these elements, the stereo sound of the Logitech G Pro X is undoubtedly one of the best we have been able to test in gaming headphones and the same is true of its microphone. For those video game fans who are looking only for the best and have a generous portfolio, we assure you that it is worth every euro.
The official price of the Logitech G Pro X is € 135.00. Frankly they are spectacular headphones and with a very high performance for competitive PC gamers thanks to the additional features of their software. However, for those of you who use consoles or mobile devices, you probably won't get all the juice out of it. Of course, the sound quality in both headphones and microphone is 10.
