The new generation of AMD Picasso APUs for the AM4 socket has appeared in the SiSoft Sandra database. Twice actually with the Ryzen 5 3400G and Ryzen 3 3200G.

Ryzen 5 3400G & Ryzen 3 3200G appear with better frequencies than its predecessors

The Ryzen 5 3400G will be a quad-core, eight-wire processor and runs at 3.7 GHz base clock. The processor will be able to reach 4.2 GHz in turbo.

The Ryzen 3 3200G, meanwhile, does not offer SMT, providing four threads on four cores. Additionally, the 3.6 GHz base clock is slightly lower than its big brother, which also applies to the 4.0 GHz turbo speed. The clock rates of the integrated graphics unit with Vega architecture remain unclear at this time.

The Ryzen 5 3400G is expected to have the fastest version of Radeon Vega11 with 11 calculation units (CU) and thus 704 shader units, as can be found in the Ryzen 5 2400G. For the Ryzen 3 3200G everything seems to indicate that it will have Vega8 with 512 shaders.

AMD Picasso will use Zen + architecture at 12nm. The updated production brings with it, unsurprisingly, slight increases in clock speed. AMD plans to launch 7nm 'Matisse' APUs later, so these new APU processors will be out soon as an upgrade to the popular 2400G and 2200G.
