Although Noctua introduced its SE-AM4 models in early 2017 and has provided free upgrade kits since the launch of the AM4 platform, upgrades to existing multi-socket models now allow customers to install them on all current conventional sockets without need. to order additional mounting kits. Since the suggested retail prices do not change, upgrades do not incur any additional cost to buyers.

The following CPU cooler models have been updated and now also include mounting tools for AM4. The models that are updated are the following:

In addition to the AM4, the coolers still include the necessary mounting for the Intel LGA2066, LGA2011, LGA1156, LGA1155, LGA1151, LGA1150 and previous generation AMD platforms (AM2 / AM2 + / AM3 / AM3 + / FM1 / FM2 / FM2 +).

The AM4 platform has been on the market for a long time and Noctua has taken its time to include the mounting for this socket already in the box. Whether they are late or not, the important thing is that these heatsinks are now compatible with all existing platforms for desktop PCs.
