Noctua launches two new low-profile heatsinks for am4

Noctua has announced the launch of two new low-profile fans, the NH-L9a-AM4 and NH-L12S, to offer new options to AM4 platform users and AMD Ryzen processors.

Both models are compatible with all the processors of the AM4 platform since they have the capacity to handle up to 95W of heat, so they will have no problems with either Ryzen processors or Bristol Ridge APUs. They are not recommended heatsinks to overclock but they will be excellent options to keep the processors cool in their stock configuration.

AMD has made a huge impact on the market with its Ryzen architecture and the platform will become even more interesting for compact HTPC versions when the first Ryzen-based APUs are introduced next year, We are thus updating two of our award-winning low-profile models to support Ryzen's AM4 socket.

The Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 will have an official price of 39.90 euros and comes with a specific mounting system for the AM4 socket, despite being low-profile, it guarantees 100% compatibility with RAM memory and PCI Express slots so there is no problem. It comes with a NF-A9x14 92mm fan for very quiet operation.

On the other hand, the Noctua's NH-L12S is a new version of the NH-L12 that comes with a mounting solution compatible with the AM4 socket in addition to AM3 +, FM2 + and the Intel LGA 115X and LGA 20XX platforms. It includes an NF-A12x15 PWM fan with a slim design to improve the thermal performance of the model on which it is based. Its price will be 49.90 euros.
