Intel comet lake processors may arrive earlier than expected

Although the third generation Ryzen is taking center stage these months, Intel plans to launch new series in the future, and one of them is the Intel Core Comet Lake.

Intel Comet Lake may arrive earlier than expected

With 10 cores, there is much speculation about how good they will be and, more specifically, when they will be published. In a last report, it is commented that these chips would arrive earlier than expected, surely precipitated by the arrival of Ryzen 3000.

A CEE application has been located online that references the Comet Lake processor. Although this application is software based, it has given rise to much speculation. That is, this could be the software development kit for the processor.

Knowing this, Coffee Lake-S could be hitting the market much sooner than expected. All of the (reliable) indications we've seen to date suggest that Comet Lake processors won't be out until 2020. If this is the formal software development kit (which is ready, though), then it might suggest that there is a realistic possibility that they can launch before the end of the year.

This is not a confirmation that they arrived this year, it is only a possibility based on very specific data, which is the software development kit. On the other hand, if third-generation Ryzen processors are as popular as anticipated, Intel may be forced to take some action "faster than expected." It is all speculation, but it is entirely possible.
