MediaTek has announced the launch of its new Helio X30 processor manufactured in the 10nm FinFET process for great power and improved energy efficiency, with it we will have a new generation of more powerful smartphones with better battery life.

The MediaTek Helio X30 comes with a Medium.LITTLE configuration in which a total of 10 cores are hidden, these are divided into two Cortex A72 cores at a speed of 2.7 GHz, four Cortex A53 cores at 2.2 GHz and four Cortex A35 cores at 1.9 GHz. Alongside this we find a powerful 800 MHz PowerVR 7XT GPU that promises 60% higher energy efficiency and 2.4 times higher performance than its predecessor. This new processor is capable of handling displays with a resolution of up to 2560 x 1600 pixels, a maximum of 8 GB of RAM and features a dual ISP with support for cameras with two sensors up to 16 megapixels.
