Microsoft has mistakenly released a new build of Windows 10 for members of the Windows Insider program that you should avoid at all costs.

The new build, with build number 16212, has support for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile and apparently causes some mobiles to go into an infinite boot loop, also known as the Boot Loop, whose only solution is to completely reset the device using Windows Recovery Tool (Windows Device Recovery Tool).

Windows 10 Mobile build 16212 causes infinite boot loop

The only problem with this restart loop caused by build 16212 of Windows 10 Mobile is that the only solution is resetting, in which case the user has to delete all the files on their mobile, something that nobody would like.

The new build has been released recently for Windows Insider members in the Fast, Slow and Release Preview rings, although it seems that it has also reached the devices of several users who are not part of this program, according to the guys from MSPowerUser.

Therefore, if you are a member of Windows Insider, do not install build 16212 in any way on your mobile or PC. Remember that this is an internal compilation that should never have reached the users, although the PC version does not seem to present any critical problem, but the mobile version could make your phone brickey.

If your device has already started downloading the new build, simply disconnect the internet to stop the download. And if the new version is already installed on your device, try to set the year of your device to 2050, which would cancel the installation of the new build.
