In addition to the unveiling of the Radeon RX 5500 graphics card, AMD, alongside MSI, is promoting the first notebook with a Navi graphics. This is the MSI Alpha 15, which makes use of RDNA technology, and not only that, it also uses a Ryzen processor to complete the combo.

MSI's Alpha 15 will go on sale this month starting at $ 999 and will ship with an AMD Ryzen 7 3750H processor, up to 16GB of DDR4 2400MHz memory, a 15.6-inch FreeSync HD display with a frequency 120Hz or 144Hz maximum refresh rate (SKU dependent), up to 512GB of NVMe storage and a backlit keyboard.
The $ 999 entry-level model is expected to ship with a single-zone backlit keyboard, a 120Hz 8GB DRAM display, while the $ 1099 high-end Alpha 15 model will launch with an RGB keyboard per SteelSeries series key, 16GB of system memory and a 144Hz display. Both models will feature WiFi 5 connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0 and Killer Etherne t compatibility. The price difference seems tiny, where we get a better keyboard, twice the memory and a better screen.
AMD has claimed that its Radeon RX 5500M graphics card will offer 30% more performance than Nvidia's GTX 1650, offering 60+ FPS performance in most modern 1080p titles. MSI has updated its cooling technology with “Cooler Boost 5”, using seven heatpipes in the Alpha 15 to offer optimum cooling performance and a minimum noise level.

The fact that MSI is launching a laptop with fully AMD hardware is a great sign of confidence in Ryzen Mobile and Radeon offerings, especially given MSI's long history of using Intel CPUs and Nvidia graphics.
Other laptop manufacturers are expected to do the same in the coming weeks and months.
