The new Sea Hawk series has been officially revealed by MSI. A total of four models were released announced, including the Sea Hawk X series, which is equipped with an AIO hybrid cooling solution, and the Sea Hawk EK X series with liquid cooling supported by an EK water block.

MSI RTX 2080 Ti Sea Hawk X achieves clock speed of 1755 MHz

The RTX 2080 Ti Sea Hawk X series is currently the fastest card on the market within the (Ti) series, with a clock speed of 1755 MHz (120 MHz higher than the Founders edition and 210 MHz above reference specifications). This occurs at the cost of higher power consumption, which is 300W (50W above spec).

Specifications indicate that the Sea Hawk EK X has the same PCB as the GAMING X Trio (with two 8-pin and one 6-pin power connectors), but the Sea Hawk non-EK only has one pair of 8-pin connectors (making it a different card).

The four models announced by MSI still have no price or release date

Meanwhile, the RTX 2080 series is very similar (both with 1860 MHz boost clock and dual 8-pin power connectors). The only difference is the 260W TDP for the RTX 2080 Sea Hawk EK X and the 245W TDP for the RTX 2080 Sea Hawk X.

At the moment, the prices and availability of the Sea Hawk EK X models have not yet been released.
