GeForce RTX graphics cards will be officially launched on September 20 and there are already several manufacturers that have their own custom models ready for the occasion, one of them is MSI with its Duke and Gaming X Trio series.

Although MSI announced that its RTX graphics cards were to have five different series, at launch only two of them will be available, the Gaming X Trio and Duke cards. These are four models between the RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti.

GeForce RTX 2080 Duke 8G OC

The Duke series comes with lighting compatible with Mystic Light, like all the models presented here. With a triple turbine design , it uses TORX 2.0 fans. The frequencies are not revealed in this model, but looking at other details with the naked eye, we see 3 DisplayPort 1.4 ports, one HDMI and the other USB-C. The amount of memory is 8GB GDRR6, similar to the reference models. You will need 1 8-pin connector and another 6-pin connector to power it. This model costs about 799 euros.

GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Duke 1G OC

Exactly the same design as the RTX 2080, but based on the most powerful RTX chip that comes with 1 1GB of GDDR6 memory. The TDP of this model is 250 W and a 6-pin and an 8-pin connection are required to power the card. This model sells for 1, 169 euros.

GeForce RTX 2080 Gaming X Trio

Gaming X Trio models are more expensive than Duke, in return, they have a more robust design for cooling and better RGB lighting. This triple turbine model comes with TORX 3.0 fans that improve cooling with less noise. The difference between Gaming X and Duke is also seen in an aluminum plate design with improvements in aerodynamic techniques to dissipate heat. Its cost is 915 euros.

GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Gaming X Trio

The RTX 2080 Ti model with all the benefits of the Gaming X Trio series discussed above. The common denominator is the scheme of 3 DisplayPort 1.4 ports, one HDMI and one USB-C. This model costs 1299 euros at the moment.

Possibly the Sea Hawk, Ventus and Aero series will arrive after launch, since they are not yet in presale, but they were announced on August 20, completing the MSI offer.
