MSI has been unveiled at CES 2018 in Las Vegas , Nevada to announce its new updated version of the Trident 3 Arctic desktop computer, which stands out for its design within a small form factor.

Trident 3 Arctic promises to be very quiet with its ' Silent Storm Cooling ' system

The Trident 3 Arctic system was first introduced early last year. This MSI computer is manufactured in a white box with dimensions of 346.25 × 232.47 × 71.83 mm (without support).

MSI has used a special cooling system called Silent Storm Cooling for this computer that helps keep it totally cool and without excessive noise, at least that's what they promise.

The update of the Trident 3 Artic has to do with the arrival of the new 8th generation Intel Core Coffee Lake processors, which replace the previous model that Kaby Lake used. As for the graphics section, MSI thought it was convenient to have an interesting upgrade, going from a GTX 1070 of the previous model to a GTX 1080.

Connectivity is not lacking, with Wi-Fi 802.11as and Bluetooth 4.2 wireless adapters. Among the available ports are USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C and USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A connectors, as well as HDMI interfaces for connecting to one or more displays.

With the specifications of the Trident 3 Arctic, it also carries the VR Ready seal co-adaptable with virtual reality game. Windows 10 Home is used as the operating system.

The price and release date is still unknown, but this MSI computer has been through CES earning two awards for innovation.
