MSI Introduces Three X570 ACE Motherboards, Gaming Pro and Gaming Plus

MSI has just unveiled its next generation products based on the X570 chipset for AMD Ryzen 3000 CPUs, the MEG X570 ACE, X570 Gaming Pro Carbon and X570 Gaming Plus. Although we have already seen a pair of MSI X570 motherboards, this is the first time they have officially shown it before being present at Computex 2019.

The AMD X570 and Ryzen 3000 motherboards and CPUs are only a week away from the official announcement, but it seems that MSI wanted to give us a preview of what they are going to show at the event. We have already seen two MSI X570 motherboards in previous leaks, but we have just received a little more information about it from the manufacturer itself.

MSI X570 ACE

The MSI MEG X570 ACE motherboard is the enthusiast offering that makes up the Enthusiast Gaming line. The motherboard has an impressive 14 + 2 phase VRM design and is powered by dual 8-pin connectors. This motherboard should allow good overclocking on AMD Ryzen 3000 series processors. There are four DDR4 DIMM slots on the motherboard that support up to 64GB of memory capacity with speeds above 4000MHz OC +.

MSI confirms three PCIe 4.0 x16 slots, two PCIe 4.0 x1 slots, and three M.2 slots.

Gaming pro

The high-end MSI X570 Gaming Pro Carbon has a 12-phase VRM that should deliver really good overclocking results on upcoming Ryzen processors. The AM4 socket is powered by an 8 + 4-pin connector configuration and there are MSI DDR4 Boost and Core Boost technologies that should automatically adjust clocks from the BIOS. There are four DDR4 DIMM slots that can support up to 64GB of DDR4 memory. Supported clock speeds are not mentioned, but we've seen OC + memory support up to 4000 MHz on the BIOSTAR X570 Racing GT8 motherboard, so we should expect more memory clock support here.

The expansion includes two PCI-e 4.0 x16 slots (x16 / x8 power), two PCI-e 4.0 x1 slots, and two M.2 slots (PCI-e 4.0 x4).

MSI has added the Dragon icon and carbon textures throughout the motherboard and we can also see an active fan.

Gaming Plus

Lastly, we have the MSI X570 Gaming Plus which is a cheaper offer with standard aluminum heatsinks that are placed on top of what appears to be a 6 or 8 phase VRM supply. Expansion slots include two PCIe 4.0 x16 (x16 / x8 electrical), three PCIe 4.0 x1, and two M.2 slots. The MSI Gaming Plus (X470) was priced below $ 140, so that's the price we should expect for this model. All these and more will be at Computex 2019.
