Now, the company is working on a new way to let users access content. It is about integrating previews, which in principle are personalized, that will be played before each chapter or movie you are going to play.

How previews work

The idea is that these previews last about 30 seconds in total, but they give you the option of being able to pass them faster. Apparently, there will be no option to “skip” or skip this preview, such as the one on YouTube or other web pages.

It is not the first time that Netflix has experimented with this type of preview. There were already in the past, although in that case the preview with series trailers that were customized for each user, generally based on the content they consume or were consuming at that time. Although those experimental previews were finally removed by the company at the end of last year. So now it is a new attempt on your part to introduce a similar system.

Netflix gives you the option of being able to remove them if you wish. Just go to the system settings. There, look for an option called account and once inside there is a section called Participation, in English is " Test Participation ". In this way you can remove the preview if you want.
