Niantic investigates pokemon go xiaomi user bans

This weekend it was revealed that users with Xiaomi phones were being banned or expelled from Pokémon GO for no reason. It seems that the reason for this ban could be found in the Xiaomi GameTurbo function, although it is something that has not been confirmed 100% either. Although from Niantic it seems that it is taken for granted that it is the cause of it.

The company confirms that they are investigating this fact, and that they will launch an update or inform users when more is known about the matter.

Ban for no reason

Many users with Xiaomi phones have been grouping these past hours, so it has been possible to see how big this problem is with the bans in Pokémon GO. In all cases without doing something wrong in the popular Niantic game, which has outraged many. Xiaomi already said that for their part they cannot do too much on the matter.
