Nokia launches a beta program for android oreo

HMD Global, a company that currently markets mobile phones under the Nokia brand, has announced the launch of a beta version program that will allow Nokia 8 users to test the Android Ore system on or before its official launch. But such a program will not be limited to this phone model.

The director of product of the Nordic company HMD Global, Juho Sarvikas, has expanded this news by sharing through the social network of the blue bird that the beta version program of Android Oreo will soon extend other devices such as the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6.

Thanks to this initiative, users who enroll in the beta program will be the first to receive Android 8.0 Ore or, and by testing the software before the general launch, they will have the opportunity to help the company create a much more fluid experience, Complete and refined with a view to its launch for the general public.

To join the beta version program, all you currently need is to have a Nokia 8 device. Once the device has been registered and validated through the IMEI number, the user will obtain the beta software update via OTA. This update will be sent within twelve hours from the moment of activation, although if you can't wait, just wait a couple of minutes and go to Settings> About phone> Updates.
