Nokia will take over the deployment of 5g in Malaysia

Most countries are currently deploying their 5G networks, or in the process of doing so. Huawei is a company that has sought to get involved in this project. Its new problems make many governments bet on other alternatives, such as Nokia.

Nokia to Deploy 5G to Malaysia

The company has been chosen in Malaysia for the deployment of 5G. In this way, they take advantage of the bad moment of Huawei and obtain said contract.

Malaysia sidesteps Huawei

In this way, it has not been Huawei but it is Nokia that gets a contract. The firm will be in charge of deploying these networks in collaboration with U Mobile in the country. The contract has already been signed and lasts for three years, as it has already been known. A good opportunity for the company, which can take the lead over Huawei in many countries in this way.

It would not be unusual for other markets to follow in Malaysia's footsteps. Many governments, also in Europe, have been against using Huawei networks. Therefore, it is presented as an opportunity for the signature of Finland.

In fact, many countries in Europe would be in favor of using Nokia and Ericsson networks. The two companies therefore have a key moment, which they will surely take advantage of in this regard. We will see if there are more countries that will work with one of the two companies.
