Today we bring you the review of some very special helmets, it is the Noontec Hammo TV that are granted to enjoy the best multimedia experience in the living room. It is a wireless headset with a station or dock that will allow us to use them with all kinds of devices to have the best sound. The manufacturer has opted for a very comfortable design and long-lasting batteries so that we can spend all day enjoying as children without feeling tired or running out of energy.
First of all, we thank Noontec for the trust placed in handing us the Hammo TV for their analysis.
Noontec Hammo TV: technical characteristics
Noontec Hammo TV: unboxing and analysis
The Noontec Hammo TVs come to us in a fairly large cardboard box with a predominance of white. On the front we see a great image of the helmets next to their dock. At the back we are given more details about its features in various languages, including Spanish, and they offer us an outline of the connection of the dock to our television to transmit the sound signal to the headphones.
To open the box we have to pull the cover upwards, once removed we see several cardboard compartments that house the different accessories and of course the helmets themselves. In addition to the dock we find all the cables necessary for the use of helmets in all the devices in which they are compatible, basically everyone who has bluetooth, a 3.5 mm jack for sound or even RCA sound connectors. Also included is a wall charger and the dock's USB power cable.
We look at the dock and see that it includes numerous connections that we see in the following image. We have the microUSB connector for the power supply, a reset, a USB 2.0 ports to charge the headphones and a 3.5mm minijack connector that we will use to connect the audio output of our television. Thanks to the complete set of cables we can connect the dock to a mini jack sound output or stereo RCA connectors.
The bundle includes a high quality fabric cover that will serve to store the headphones when we are not using them so that they remain in perfect condition for a long time. In fact, Hammo TVs come inside folded.
We are already focusing on the Noontec Hammo TV headphones themselves, these are high-end helmets with a design that allows them to be folded to allow us to store them in a more comfortable way and that they barely take up space, for this it has two joints which make a "Click" quite loud when we unfold the helmets.
The helmets have a very attractive but simple design. Its construction uses metal so they have a very robust design of high quality, let's not forget that it is a high-end model. It is a simple design but should not mislead us about the overall quality of the product, they keep light weight so they are very comfortable to wear.
The headband has the brand's logo on the outside and is lightly padded in synthetic leather for greater comfort when wearing helmets for a long period of time.
Along with the joints that serve to fold the helmets, we have a height adjustment system to better adapt the helmets to our head, its route is not one of the largest but we believe that it will be sufficient for all users.
The Noontec Hammo TVs promise excellent sound quality and for this they rely on Votrik HD500 drivers with a size of 50 mm and which are manufactured by Noontec itself to ensure they have the highest sound quality. We do not have more information about these drivers, so they will have to be tested to see their quality, as I anticipate that they do not disappoint at all. Noontec Hammo TVs use aptX technology to solve one of the problems of sound transmission via Bluetooth, the loss of quality. This code c compresses the data to be sent without reducing the quality so we can enjoy a sound experience just as if we had a cable
These speakers made by Noontec are hidden inside quite large circumaural domes and with a very abundant and soft padding for great comfort of use during long sessions. Inside these domes are the batteries that allow these helmets to work wirelessly, Noontec promises a range of 50 hours that seems outrageous but space for large batteries is not lacking, that's for sure. The autonomy will depend on the volume of the sound but with that we exceed 30 hours we are already talking about something very very good.
The left earbud is the area chosen to install the control buttons, we have a button that functions on / off and pause / resume and two buttons to adjust the volume level. We also see an LED indicator that indicates that the helmets is working as well as its battery level.
This is how they look on your dock, just great.
Final words and conclusion
Finding high quality off-road wireless helmets is not an easy task if we do not want the price to skyrocket. The Noontec Hammo TV have proven to be a great option for all users who want to enjoy the best sound on all their devices. These Noontec are really very comfortable, without a doubt their pads also help a lot since they are soft and comfortable. The possibility of adjusting its height is also very important, although it is difficult that we do not see it in some helmets.
As for the sound quality it is simply excellent and has exceeded expectations, the Votrik HD500 drivers have not disappointed and are capable of delivering high quality sound in both treble and bass without dwarfing each other. This great sound quality is also thanks to the aptX codec that achieves data compression without loss of quality, something that we only usually see in high-end models and that could not be missing in these Noontec Hammo TVs.
We recommend reading our guide to the best gamer helmets for PC.
The autonomy of the Noontec Hammo TV is excellent, I have been using them an average of 2-3 hours a day during the seven days of the week and they have not given any symptoms that the charge is running out, seen what is seen in the Zoro II that we analyzed a few months ago would not surprise me if they really reach 50 hours of playback or come very close with a fairly high volume. Once again Noontec has shown us that autonomy is one of the best on the market if not the best.
The Noontec Hammo TVs are available to buy for an approximate price of 130 euros, a high price but they have shown that their quality is up to the task.
