Many are users who use headphones to enjoy all their multimedia content, be they movies, series, video games or others, having good helmets is essential to enjoy an excellent experience of use. Noontec is an Asian manufacturer with excellent options for all users, one of its best proposals is the Noontec Zoro II Wireless that offer us a very robust and attractive design along with wireless operation and last but not least they promise exceptional sound quality thanks to your aptX compatible bluetooth connectivity. If you want to know more about them, don't miss our review.
First of all, we thank Noontec for the trust they placed in giving us the Zoro II Wireless for analysis.
Noontec Zoro II Wireless: technical characteristics
Noontec Zoro II Wireless: unboxing and analysis
The Noontec Zoro II Wireless come to us in a cardboard box of very compact dimensions and predominantly white. On the front we see an image of a man with helmets on, something that we have already seen in some products and other Asian manufacturers, we also see some of its features such as its NFC connectivity and Bluetooth compatible with the aptX codec for a higher quality of sound. On the back we are given more details about its features in several languages, including Spanish.
The box has a small flap that we can open to access a small transparent plastic window to see the product before taking it home, in the flap we are given additional details about its most important characteristics, of course we will be well informed before passing per box although for this we will need to find these headphones in a physical store to be able to see them clearly.
We open the box and begin to see its contents, we find the folded headphones themselves, a USB-microUSB cable to recharge your battery, a cable with two 3.5 mm mini jack tips and that includes an integrated microphone and a high quality fabric cover that will serve to store the headphones when we are not using them so that they remain in perfect condition for a long time. We also see a quick start guide available in multiple languages, including Spanish.
We are already focusing on the Noontec Zoro II Wireless headphones themselves, they are high-end helmets with a design that allows them to be folded to store them in a more comfortable way and that they barely take up space, for this it has two articulations which make a “ Click ”quite loud when we unfold the helmets, this sound helps us to make sure that they are wide open and will not fall.
The helmets have a design that I personally liked a lot, in this case we have the unit in red and black and I find it beautiful. Its construction uses metal so they have a very robust design of high quality, let's not forget that it is a high-end model. It is a simple design but it should not deceive us about the general quality of the product, having opted for a simple design allows its weight to be kept at only 190 grams and they are very comfortable to wear.
The headband has the brand logo on the outside in white, on the inside is red and is lightly padded in synthetic leather for greater comfort when wearing helmets for a long period of time.
Along with the joints that serve to fold the helmets, we have a height adjustment system to better adapt the helmets to our head, its route is not one of the largest but we believe that it will be sufficient for all users.
It is time to look at one of the most important parts of all headphones but the most, its speakers. This time we have Votrik HD400 drivers with a size of 40 mm and which are manufactured by Noontec itself to ensure you have the highest sound quality. These speakers are capable of operating at frequencies from 13 Hz to 26 Khz, so they can offer a much wider frequency range than most headphones on the market, which usually range between approximately 20 Hz and 20 KHz. Its characteristics continue with an impedance of 32 ohms and a sound pressure measured at 108 dB.
These speakers made by Noontec are hidden inside supraural domes that have external dimensions of 75 x 60 mm and 45 x 25 mm for the aural cavity. These domes are covered with a very soft padding that shows high quality and promises great comfort of use although perhaps it could be a little larger.
We continue talking about the speakers and the Supraaural domes and that is where Noontec has chosen to install all the connectors and control knobs of the Zoro II Wireless. In the domes we find the microUSB connector to recharge the battery of the helmets and the 3.5mm TRS mini jack connector to use them wired in the case of devices that do not have bluetooth or NFC. The battery of these Noontec Zoro II Wireless promises an autonomy of operation of 35 hours, something that seems hard to believe but as always depends a lot on the volume level used, surely in normal use it is more logical to wait between 15 and 20 hours of autonomy, which is still an excellent figure.
Now we look at the control knobs, on the left earphone we have the buttons to increase / decrease the volume and also a button to change the track we are listening to. On the other hand, in the right speaker we see the controls that we will use to turn on / off the headphones and different actions such as pause / resume playback, hang up / pick up calls and finally an LED indicator that indicates that the helmets are working as well as their level of battery.
WE RECOMMEND YOU Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super Gaming OC Review in Spanish (Analysis)Final words and conclusion
The Noontec Zoro II Wireless are some wireless helmets that have surprised me very pleasantly, on the one hand we have a simple design but with a lot of quality and that it remains light for great comfort of use, many times the helmets are too heavy and They become uncomfortable after long sessions of use. These Noontec are really very comfortable, without a doubt their pads also help a lot since they are soft and comfortable. The possibility of adjusting its height is also very important, although it is difficult that we do not see it in some helmets.
If the comfort is excellent, the sound quality is not far behind. Clearly this is a high-end unit and its sound proves it, its 40mm drivers do a great job with high-quality sound and clarity with well-balanced bass and treble that don't dwarf each other.. In addition to the drivers themselves, the sound quality is greatly influenced by its compatibility with the aptX codec that achieves data compression without loss of quality, something that we usually only see in high-end models and that could not be missing in these Noontec Zoro II Wireless. We have bluetooth, NFC and wired modes of use for great compatibility and to be able to use our helmets with all devices in the most comfortable way possible.
We recommend reading our guide to the best gamer helmets for PC.
The autonomy of the Noontec Zoro II Wireless is excellent, regardless of whether or not they can reach the 35 hours that the manufacturer promises, the truth is that I have been using them for almost 20 hours and they still had battery so I am sure They could have lasted a few more, the 20 hours seem quite assured and can even be exceeded depending on the volume level used, surely the promised 35 hours will be with the volume very low and in a real scenario we will not arrive although nobody will complain about their autonomy.
