New Gigabyte Brix with Thunderbolt 3. Gigabyte has announced the addition of four new models of Brix mini computers with 6th generation "Skylake" Intel Core processors and a USB Type-C port compatible with the Thunderbolt 3 high speed interface.
New Gigabyte Brix with Thunderbolt 3 and wide possibilities of use
Each model includes video outputs in the form of HDMI and Mini DisplayPort for configurations of up to two monitors. They also have four USB 3.0 ports, a USB Type-C / Thunderbolt 3 port, a Gigabit network connector, two SODIMM slots for DDR4-2133 memory modules and 3.5 mm jack connectors for headphones and microphone.
They also offer an internal module with Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi ac connectivity for a more comfortable use of your new Brix. Gigabyte says this last detail will only be available in certain regions.
The four models in question are:
- GB-BSi5HT-6200: with a Core i5-6200U processor and support for M.2 and Sata III 2.5 ″ storage units. GB-BSi5T-6200: with a Core i5-6200U processor and support only for M.2 SSD. GB-BSi7HT-6500: with Core i7-6500U processor and support for M.2 and Sata III 2.5 ″ storage units. GB-BSi7T-6500: with Core i7-6500U processor and support only for M.2 SSD.
