The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 arrives with a total of 1, 280 CUDA Cores at a maximum frequency of 1.7 GHz accompanied by 6 GB of GDDR5 memory with a 192-bit interface and a bandwidth of 192 GB / s. With these specifications it is capable of offering a power of 4.4 TFLOPs and a TDP of only 120W, so it will work with a single 6-pin connector due to its low power consumption.
With these specifications the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 will be slightly more powerful than the AMD Radeon RX 480 and 40% more efficient with power consumption. The custom versions of the Radeon RX 480 would be more powerful than the GTX 1060 but at the cost of even higher power consumption.
The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 will arrive on July 7 if the forecasts are met in its Founders Edition reference version, a little later we will have the custom versions of the assemblers. The most important thing will be to know its price to see if it is worth compared to the Radeon RX 480 or not.
