Rumors continue about what will be the new top of the range graphics card from Nvidia, the GeForce GTX 1080Ti that should arrive during the month of January to offer players a power very similar to the Titan X Pascal but at a much more competitive price.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti will arrive during CES 2017

The GeForce GTX 1080Ti would be announced during the inaugural CES 2017 conference that will take place in January. The GeForce GTX 1080Ti will be based on a Pascal GP102 core but Nvidia will disable 4 of the 30 data stream multiprocessors (SM) that the chip includes. This would leave its specs at a total of 3, 328 CUDA Cores, 208 TMUs and 96 ROPs to be accompanied by 12GB of GDDR5X memory with an impressive 480GB / s bandwidth. The core could run at a base 1503 MHz and 1623 MHz turbo speed for spectacular performance.

With these specifications the GeForce GTX 1080Ti would offer a performance very similar to that of the GeForce GTX Titan X since the slight cut in its core is compensated by a higher 100 MHz speed. Like all Pascal cards, it should offer sensational overclocking capabilities to further enhance its performance.
