We have new leaks on NVIDIA's upcoming GeForce RTX 2060 graphics cards. Not only has the reference model of the GeForce RTX 2060 been photographed, but we also know exactly when they will be available in stores, always talking about the reference model.

Images of the RTX 2060 Founders Edition, will be available on January 15

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 will be the latest addition to the RTX Turing generation GeForce family of graphics cards. Aimed at the general market and with a target price of $ 250-300, it will seek to be the replacement for the mid-range GTX 1060, with a 'considerable' performance boost.

In terms of specs, we know that the card will use the TU106 core. This core will be slightly layered relative to the RTX 2070, which includes 1920 CUDA cores, 240 turnbuckle cores, 30 RT cores, 120 TMU, and 48 ROP. The card will feature clock speeds in the 1360 MHz (Base) and 1680 MHz (Boost) ranges, while offering up to 6.5 TFLOPs of computing power. Since the card has 6 lower RT cores than the RTX 2070, you may end up with Ray Tracing performance of 4-5 Giga per second.

It would be presented during CES 2019

The RTX 2060 will be announced at CES, quite possibly by Jensen himself (NVIDIA CEO) during his opening remarks. The new model will be available in stores from January 15.

From what we see in the photographs, the RTX 2060 Founders Edition has two fans, the design is a copy of the RTX 2070 FE. The card is equipped with a single 8-pin power connector and a full cover backplate. This model has two DisplayPort outputs, HDMI, DVI-I and USB TypeC connectors.

We will share more details as they become available.
