New Nvidia Tegra chip with Pascal graphics is on the way
Nvidia would be about to show a new chip of the Tegra family with impressive characteristics, the new processor would be shown in August and will come to succeed the Tegra X1 that was announced in early 2015. The new creation of Nvidia will be presented at a conference in Cupertino and his code name would be Parker.
If the latter is true, it would be the same silicon used in the Drive PX 2 board and that has impressive specifications led by a CPU consisting of four ARM Cortex-A57 cores and two custom cores based on Nvidia's Denver 2 architecture.
As for graphics, we would be facing a GPU based on the Pascal architecture, so it will be a huge step forward in terms of performance and energy efficiency, as the first desktop graphics cards based on this architecture have shown, the latest addition is the GeForce GTX 1060 which has shown excellent performance with very low power consumption.
