New Nvidia Tegra processor with Pacal architecture
The new Nvidia Tegra chip with Pascal arrives on a new board to replace the powerful Jetson TX1, in fact both boards seem to have the same dimensions and the same arrangement of the elements present in them. This new Tegra processor should deliver spectacular performance while being highly energy efficient, all thanks to TSMC's advanced Pascal 16nm FinFET manufacturing process and architecture. This new processor is not expected to be included in smartphones since Nvidia left this sector. However, it could be included in a new version of your Shield Tablet.
Nvidia has also taken the opportunity to present a new version of its Drive PX 2 board aimed at the automotive sector. While the "Tegra side" has not been modified, the MXM board has been slightly modified and has been equipped with a metal heatsink and the inclusion of 4 memory modules next to the Pascal GP106 GPU.
