Nvidia prepares the gpus quadro rtx for turing based laptops

NVIDIA appears to be preparing laptop variants of its Turing- based Quadro RTX graphics cards. The new laptop variants are expected to be introduced in a wide range of quality workstation products, such as the ones below, which are Dell products.

At the moment, this is not an official presentation, but a leak from Dell's roadmap. It specifies several Dell laptops, which includes the Precision and Latitude series. There are a few key features to expect from the next range, such as the new Quadro RTX graphics cards that will ship with the Precision line of notebooks.

There appear to be at least two high-end variants of the Quadro RTX graphics card that will appear on the Precision 7540 and Precision 7740 notebooks. In the Precision 7540 model it appears along with its alternative, the AMD Radeon Pro WX4150, which is a graphics card equivalent to the RX 460. NVIDIA's Quadro RTX uses a TU106 GPU, which is much faster than the Polaris 11 GPU.

The Precision 7740, on the other hand, uses a more premium design with its AMD Radeon Pro WX7100 alternative. This graphics card is based on the architecture of the Polaris 20 GPU with the same specifications as the AMD Radeon RX 580 card. Knowing this, the Quadro RTX used in this model is likely to be used as the basis for the TU104 GPU architecture, which is a Again a much faster variant than AMD's offering.

At the moment, we do not know exactly the specifications of these new Quadro RTX, but the TU106 and TU104 silicon are used by the RTX 2060 and RTX 2080 respectively. We will keep you informed.
