Nzxt h200i review in Spanish (complete analysis)

Mini ITX systems are increasingly popular and it does not surprise us, the great advances in computing have made it possible for us to have new computers that are much more compact and with exceptional performance. The NZXT H200i is one of the best Mini ITX chassis that we can find for sale, as it offers everything that the most demanding users may need in a super compact size.

Unboxing and design

NZXT H200i is presented perfectly packed in a cardboard box, once we open it we find the chassis very well accommodated by several pieces of cork and covered with a bag, a luxury presentation to avoid damage during transport.

Next to the chassis we find all the accessories necessary for the assembly of the equipment.

This new PC chassis features a Mini ITX format. Its dimensions are only 210 x 349 x 372 mm and it has a weight of 6 kg. The highest quality elements such as SECC steel and tempered glass are used for its construction. NZXT takes great care of all its products and this new chassis was not going to be an exception, not in vain has earned a place among the best manufacturers of PC chassis with its own merit.

The NZXT H200i chassis wants to be up to date, so it includes a tempered glass window in its main panel, in fact the entire panel is glass and looks spectacular. Thanks to this we will be able to perfectly see all the components of our new and beloved computer.

The design of the chassis is very simple, beyond the side of tempered glass everything looks very minimalist, we are facing an aesthetic that will not displease any user and many will fall in love. The front is totally clean since the ports and buttons have been moved to the upper area.

We look at the top area and see the I / O panel with two USB 3.0 ports and the 3.5 mm connectors for audio and micro, along with it the power button. Also in this upper area we see an included Aer F120 120mm fan, there is no space to put any more nor can we change it for a 140mm one.

We get to the rear and see the hole for the power supply at the bottom, the best location to allow you to take fresh air from outside the equipment, next to it we see two bays for expansion cards and a 120mm Aer F120 fan included as standard, in this case we can not change it for a larger one either. We highlight that it supports a power supply with a length of up to 311 mm, enough for very powerful units.

In the lower area we see the air inlet of the power supply, covered by an anti-dust filter to prevent dirt from entering. It also has non-slip rubber feet, these will serve to slightly raise the chassis and thereby improve air flow.

Interior and assembly

Once seen the exterior we are going to look inside the NZXT H200 i, to open the tempered glass panel we only have to remove four hand screws, something that does not have any difficulty.

Once the chassis is opened, the first thing we see is the area of the motherboard, logically it is only compatible with Mini ITX models.

Despite its small size, it is compatible with CPU coolers of up to 165 mm in height and a graphics card of up to 325 mm in length, with this we will not have any problem to mount a very powerful team.

As for storage, it has four 2.5-inch disk bays and one 3.5-inch disk bay, more than enough for all users and to mount a system with a large capacity to store all our files.

We see that on the front it offers us the possibility of mounting two 120mm fans, these are not included as standard. These will be covered by a dust filter that can be easily removed for cleaning.

NZXT H200i includes a smart device with support for three fans.

It also has the possibility of installing four RGB LED strips or five fans also with RGB lighting, thanks to which we can give our team a spectacular appearance. To end this section we leave you some images of one of our montages:

The intelligent controller that integrates the new H series chassis is one of the great benefits that these new chassis incorporate. With it we can combine functions such as NZXT's Grid + and HUE + controllers that add up to around 30 euros each. This smart device controls one lighting channel with individual control over each LED and three fan speed channels along with a noise reduction function through the CAM interface.

The controller uses machine learning to find the perfect balance between noise and cooling capacity. It is super useful because it allows us to manage the fan curve manually or directly with the profiles predefined by NZXT : Silent mode or maximum performance. Another of the super interesting options because it allows us to manage LED lighting with a wide variety of effects and a palette of up to 16.8 million colors.

Final words and conclusion about NZXT H200i

We loved the NZXT H200i chassis ! Since it has all the ingredients to captivate us: design, build quality, window with great vision inside and built in tempered glass, USB connections, excellent cooling and is compatible with high-end components.

We also liked that the assembly is extremely easy! With a standard screwdriver and some patience (about 20 minutes) we have mounted and prepared our entire system. What more can we ask for?

In our case we have assembled the new AMD Ryzen 5 2400G, an Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti (yes, it is unbalanced but in this way you can see a real simulation of an itx system), 16 GB of RAM, two SSDs and a cooling by air.

We recommend reading the best chassis on the market

Currently we find it in online stores for a price of 120 euros. Taking into account that it brings the smart controller, we think it is a justified price, although for 20 euros less it would be a super top seller. What do you think of the NZXT H200i? Did you like it as much as we do?
