NZXT Kraken M22 is an AIO liquid cooling kit that comes pre-assembled and ready to install on your computer. The manufacturer has chosen a cardboard box to pack the product, the box is based on the company's corporate colors, and offers us high-resolution, high-quality images of the product, as well as its most important specifications and features in multiple languages..

Once we open the box we find the kit along with the documentation, and all the accessories necessary for its assembly. The heatsink is perfectly accommodated in a piece of cardboard to prevent it from moving during transport, in addition, each of its parts is packed in plastic to achieve the maximum possible protection.

We see a close-up of the NZXT Kraken M22, it is a very compact heatsink, which is based on a highly optimized design to get the most out of the surface of your radiator. The radiator is built with dimensions of 152 x 120 x 32 mm, which will make it compatible with almost all the chassis on the market.

It is a radiator with aluminum fins, which are very thin and are very fair to increase their number to the maximum. This design allows it to offer a large surface of heat exchange in a very compact device like this, something that is essential to achieve maximum performance for its users. The radiator frame is black plastic, all the elements are perfectly sealed to prevent the evaporation of the fluid, thanks to this the heatsink will last us many years.

The radiator starts with tubes with a length of 400, these are fairly flexible corrugated tubes, which will facilitate the installation of the heatsink in the equipment. The union of the tubes to the radiator and to the CPU block is perfectly sealed, once again to avoid the evaporation of the cooling fluid inside this kit.

Finally, we talk about the fan included in the NZXT Kraken M22, it is the Aer P120 model with a size of 120 mm as its name indicates. This fan is capable of rotating at a speed between 500 and 2000 RPM with a noise level of between 21-36dBA. This fan is based on a design that manages to create a high static pressure on the radiator surface, something essential to maximize performance. Installation and assembly

In our case we are going to use a LGA 1151 platform which has a fairly simple installation and will not take more than a few minutes. Here we go!

The first step is to install the four set screws in the socket in this way. It is somewhat atypical but it is quite comfortable to adapt to the Intel socket of our computer.

To test the actual performance of the heatsink we are going to stress with the powerful Intel i7-8700K at stock speed. As usual, our tests consist of 72 uninterrupted hours of work in stock values, since being a ten-core processor and with high frequencies, temperatures can be high.

In this way, we can observe the highest temperature peaks and the average that the heatsink reaches. We must bear in mind that when playing or using other types of software, the temperature will drop dramatically between 7 to 12ºC.

How are we going to measure the processor temperature? For this test we will use the internal sensors of the processor under the supervision of the HWiNFO64 application in its latest version. NZXT CAM software

To manage the lighting we will use the CAM software, for this the manufacturer has placed a Micro USB connector in the block, this will allow us to connect it to the motherboard to manage the system from the manufacturer's software.

The application is completely free and you don't need to have an NZXT product to use it (this is a hoot). Among its sections we find the one to monitor the entire system (hard drives, cpu, gpu and ram), another section that informs us of all the components of the system, allows you to overclock and configure the lighting of the block or LED strips.

NZXT launches one of the best liquid coolers 120 mm from the market. Among its benefits we see that it incorporates a novel design of pump integrated in the same radiator (usually it is in the block). It also has a sublime design with its RGB lighting and very high quality tubes.

In our tests we have been able to verify the great performance it offers with an Intel Core i7-8700K without delid (fully standard) and that it is more than enough for daily tasks. Additionally it can be used by overclocking, since games and certain applications do not put the CPU at 100% with all its instructions.

Does the bomb sound? It is surprising, but it is hardly heard and with a closed chassis we will not have any type of problem. Another plus point is its management software. Quality, many management and monitoring options. A 10 for NZXT!

Its price in stores ranges from 99.99 euros. Perhaps we were expecting a second fan to further justify its price. Although we believe that it is a really recommended option for its technology and performance.
