Nzxt h700i review in Spanish (complete analysis)

NZXT H700i is the largest proposal of the manufacturer's new H series, we are talking about the successor to the S340 and S340 Elite chassis from which it inherits sharp edges along with a very smooth and attractive surface and excellent equipment wiring management. In addition to this, some extras have been added that make it an "intelligent" chassis.

Unboxing and design

NZXT H700i is presented in a large white cardboard box. On its cover stands out the image of the box and a notice to the delivery man that there is a crystal inside. Inside we will find the chassis very well accommodated, protected by several pieces of cork and a plastic bag to avoid damaging its surface.

The NZXT H700i is a high-end chassis that aspires to be one of the best on the market, for this it is based on the use of the highest quality SECC steel together with a tempered glass window on the main side, which will allow us to see all the components of our equipment and enjoy its advanced lighting systems, in addition to the two RGB strips included with the chassis.

It reaches measures of 230mm x 516mm x 494mm and a weight of 12.27 Kg. Undoubtedly an important figure that is due to the use of excellent quality materials and the large size of the chassis.

We can see that on both sides air intakes have been included to improve the flow within the equipment, we know very well that NZXT is one of the manufacturers of PC chassis that best takes care of all the details and this was not going to be an exception.

In the upper area, the panel with all the connection ports and buttons has been installed, in this case we have two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.1 ports and the 3.5 mm jack connectors for audio and micro in addition to the buttons ignition and reset.

The aesthetic is enhanced by an RGB LED strip on the top of the chassis and an additional 12 "strip that is magnetic so that the user can place it where they prefer, with this we already have a new chassis that is committed to the fashion of the era RGB. The lighting is managed by a "smart" controller that is also used by fans, something that we will see later.

Now we're talking about hard drive bays, the NZXT H700i offers us a total of three 2.5 "bays included with the case that can be inserted into the front or top of the PSU cover with spring loaded catches as well as also two standard screw-in compartments behind the motherboard. Two 3.5 ″ compartments are stacked on top of each other under the cover, and one or both can be removed.

The smart device is one of the main attractions of the H series and responsible for its high price, it is not sold separately so we cannot know its cost, but it combines functions of the NZXT Grid + and HUE + controllers that add up of 30 euros each. This smart device controls one lighting channel with individual control over each LED and three fan speed channels along with a noise reduction function through the CAM interface.

This proposal aims to use machine learning to find the perfect balance between noise and cooling capacity. It is super useful because it allows us to manage the fan curve manually or directly with the profiles predefined by NZXT : Silent mode or maximum performance. Another of the super interesting options because it allows us to manage LED lighting with a wide variety of effects and a palette of up to 16.8 million colors.

The NZXT H700i is one of the best cases we've tested! We really liked its design, the ability to install high-performance components, its tempered glass and its cooling system.

As you have seen in our analysis we have assembled a top of the range equipment. At the aesthetic level it is brutal, out of 10! We also really liked the ease of mounting components and the routing system for routing all cables.
