Playstation 5 would have the graphics power of an rtx 2080 (rumor)
Table of contents:
There's still a lot we don't know about the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett consoles. The rumors hint at the fact that they will both be very powerful, and it seems that the PlayStation 5 took the lead graphically.
PlayStation 5 would have a power of 14 TF
A few hours ago, Komachi leaked the clock speeds of a sample from Oberon, which are supposed to be the same as those of Ariel and Gonzalo, both considered to be the name of the APU for the PlayStation 5. The gen2 number is extremely high, and it would put the console ahead of the AMD Navi RX 5700 GPU and almost on par with the RTX 2080 in terms of power.
This is equivalent to 9.2 TF in the RDNA architecture. Or approximately 14 TF in the GCN architecture, that is, more than double the power of the XBOX One X.
Oberon A0.
Gen2: GFXCLK = 2, 000GHz
Gen1: GFXCLK = 0.911Ghz
Gen0: GFXCLK = 0.800Ghz.
