The arrival of the second generation of Ryzen processors is very close and they are beginning to be seen in the SANDRA database, a very reliable source to discover the new chips that are to come. In this case we can see the Ryzen 5 2600 and some of its specifications, in addition to the new ASUS ROG Crosshair VII Hero motherboard.

Ryzen 5 2600 will be manufactured at 12nm

We know that Ryzen 2 is going to land in stores in March, as a new generation of ZEN core-based processors, but this time manufactured in a 12nm process, maintaining its compatibility with current AM4 socket motherboards.

During the last hours the Ryzen 5 2600 could be seen in the Sandra database, confirming that it worked at a speed of 3.4GHz, this would be about 200 MHz above the Ryzen 5 1600 model. The processor will be 6 cores and 12 threads with an 8MB L3 cache. This would be a sample of processor engineering and its speed may or may not change in the final version and be maintained.

In tune with this AMD processor, you can also see the new ASUS ROG Crosshair VII Hero motherboard, which carries the X470 chipset. Unfortunately there isn't much more information on the motherboard, only that it is already working with the second generation of Ryzen processors. We may have more leaks in the coming weeks, as we get closer to the official launch.
