Today we are still at Computex : fourth day of exhibition. The Austrian company dedicated to refrigeration has shown us its components for the next era and here we are going to see the Noctua Serie A.

Noctua Serie A , components for the future

Noctua is a young company from Austria, Europe. It mainly focuses on medium and high-end cooling and ventilation systems and in this event the Noctua Serie A has presented us .

The fans in this series are currently test pieces, but keep an eye on them as they may soon become your next acquisition. We will have an overwhelming five diameter sizes: 140mm, 80mm, 70mm, 60mm and 50mm.

The components are made of LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer), although they may adopt different colors. These translucent versions are only prototypes.

The pieces are very light thanks to the previously mentioned material and, in addition, the frame of the largest is reinforced with metal, so the resistance will also be good. Wide, all fans measure 15mm , so they will fit almost any device.

As is common, they try to increase the pressure by air flow more and more, and for this, the inlet has a stepped design. However, they do not abandon the small details and the fans are designed to eliminate all kinds of vibration, so we will enjoy a quieter experience.

Here we have the characteristic technology of Noctua SSO , in this case, in its second iteration. This system helps us optimize the fan bearings so that they run smoother and last longer.

The 140mm version is the most standard and has all the features we've collected before.

On the other hand, the smaller versions have the option of carrying a PMW to be able to use it with 5V or 12V, depending on your equipment. These smaller versions maintain a resistant structure by being reinforced by micro-structures on the inside.

The power they can achieve remains to be seen, although it seems to us an interesting bet for the near future. The estimated departure date is 2021.

Important note: the 60mm diameter fan will have the same technologies as its peers, but will come out in approximately 2020. As we see in the photo, it will have a more vintage appearance with flat colors.

Do you have a Noctua component? Are you looking for next-gen ventilation? Tell us your ideas in the comments.
