The first previous version of Android P is already a reality. This same week the version that developers can download was released. Although only the Google Pixels are going to be able to make use of it. A couple of days after this launch, we already know the calendar with which the company works. So we already know when the next previous versions and the final version of Android P will arrive.

A calendar in which to tell the truth there have been very few surprises. Since it follows practically the same scheme that Android Nougat and Android Oreo have carried so far.

Android P will arrive in the third quarter of the year

This week we have already had the first previous version of the new version of the operating system. For the second we will have to wait until May. Everything indicates that it will be launched on the dates of the Google I / O 2018. Also, this version is expected to be released through the Android Beta Program.

A month later, at the beginning of June the third preview will arrive, with the final APIs. And at the end of the same month a candidate version will be released. This is the version in which they are going to be tested and look for any possible errors. While a new version will arrive in July, it will be almost the final one.

In the third quarter it will be officially presented to the Android P world. The date has not been revealed yet, although it will surely be again in mid-August as on the two previous occasions. So Google has opted to follow an identical calendar to last year.
