Qnap launches the nas ts-x31p2 and ts series
Taipei, Taiwan, September 27, 2017 - QNAP® Systems, Inc. today launched the TS-x31P2 series (available in 2 and 4 bays) and TS-431X2 (4 bays) with quad-core processors, providing users with SMBs and Small Offices / Home Offices (SOHO) a more powerful NAS for your collaborative workflows and resource-demanding applications. Both series support Snapshots, allowing users to easily restore the NAS to an earlier state in the event of an unexpected system crash or ransomware attack. (The Snapshots feature will be available from QTS version 4.3.4.) The TS-431X2 also features a 10GbE SFP + port to power containerized applications over 10GbE networks.
QNAP Launches NAS TS-x31P2 and TS-431X2 Series
“The quad-core processor in the TS-x31P2 and TS-431X2 enables users to experience a high level of performance and, in turn, also enables very demanding performance functionality such as Snapshots to provide greater protection of data from the NAS. The ability to upgrade RAM to 8GB also provides users with the ability to future-proof their NAS in order to use additional container applications and more productive NAS applications, "said Dan Lin, Product Manager at QNAP.
With a 1.7GHz Alpine AL-314 quad-core processor from AnnapurnaLabs, the Amazon company, RAM up to 8GB DDR3, support for SATA 6Gb / s disks and two Gigabit LAN ports, both series offer exceptional performance while guarantee the confidentiality of confidential personal data stored on the NAS with AES-256 encryption. The TS-431X2 also provides an affordable 10GbE SFP + port, to offer small businesses that have recently adopted or are planning to adopt a 10GbE network infrastructure.
All drive bays on the TS-x31P2 and TS-431X2 support SSD caching to greatly increase the IOPS performance of storage volumes and increase operational efficiency. Both series allow users to use highly productive applications, including QmailAgent for central email administration, Notes Station for collaborative note taking, Qfiling for automated file organization, and Qsirch for a full-text search engine. With powerful hardware capabilities, users can develop and implement containerized virtualization and IoT applications with the Container Station.
