QNAP has already announced the launch of its QWU-100 device. This device allows us to add the network device management function to the Intranet. The QWU-100 can be used to run Wake-on-LAN (WoL), Wake-on-WAN (WoW), and device monitoring on the LAN, allowing you to optimize IT management, lower the total cost of property (TCO) and maximize your peace of mind.

QNAP Introduces QWU-100 Network Device Management Device

The company also confirms the launch of this model now. Users who are interested in acquiring it can do so officially on the company's website.

Network Device Management Device

The QWU-100 will search, classify, and store all devices on the network when connecting to a LAN network. Users can send a magic packet to a device to activate it directly, or create programs to perform WoL operations periodically. With the myQNAPcloud cloud service, users can create a QNAP ID and register the QWU-100 device in the account. The ID can be used to connect to the QWU-100 device from the Internet, allowing WoW operations to be performed. In addition, this device sends an email and / or a push notification when certain devices are offline or unknown devices are connected to the LAN.

As the company has already confirmed, the QWU-100 device has two Ethernet ports. They are used to manage two different subnets. The device can be powered through a USB Type-C port or a PoE connection (Port 1 only).

QNAP officially puts it on sale now, as they have already announced. Users interested in learning more about the device or how they can purchase it, can visit www.qnap.com.
