Gears 5 is about to go on sale and, in anticipation of the game's release, AMD is releasing a new version of its Radeon Adrenalin 19.9.1 graphics drivers, which offer optimization to improve Microsoft's game performance.

Radeon Adrenalin 19.9.1 is now available

Based on AMD's own internal benchmarking, the 19.9.1 driver provides up to 8% performance with DirectX 12, compared to the 19.8.2 driver. This was calculated with an RX 5700 XT graphics card with 4K resolution.

Beyond Gears 5 optimizations, there's not much to talk about. Only one bug has been fixed: Driver 19.9.1 fixes an issue that caused the system to crash when starting RGB Fusion.
