Razer Orochi technical specifications
Unboxing and design
The Razer Orochi comes in a small cardboard box with a design very common in Razer products in which we observe a predominance of the color black. On the front comes a mouse image along with its name and the brand's logo. All its specifications are detailed on the back. We miss a window to appreciate the product before buying it.
We find the following bundle:
- Razer Orochi USB Cable. Storage bag. Instruction manual, warranty and sticker.
The Razer Orochi has dimensions of 99 x 67 x 35 mm (Length x Width x Height) and a weight of 115 grams. Its symmetrical design is ideal for ambidextrous users so that everyone can use it comfortably regardless of whether they are left or right handed.
At the top we find the two main buttons with high-quality mechanisms to last a long time without wearing out. The scroll wheel, on the other hand, has a very pleasant route and feel, which makes it easy to use.
On both sides we have a small rubber band that helps grip the mouse and prevent it from slipping. We also find on each side with two side buttons fully configurable by software to improve the experience of using our mouse. The experience is really very good.
We turn to look at the lower area and we find the 8, 200 DPI 4G laser sensor that we can adjust through software to perfectly adjust it to our use needs.
Finally we come to the rear area that presents a very clean design in which we only appreciate the screen printed Razer logo.
Software and autonomy
The Razer Orochi mouse is compatible with Synapse software with which we can adjust various parameters such as lighting (only on the wheel) , the functions of its programmable buttons, the creation of macros and profiles and various adjustments related to battery and autonomy.
Already entering the autonomy, comment that the mouse has an approximate autonomy of 3 months of normal use or 100 hours of non-stop playing, quite good figures that will make us forget to buy or charge the batteries in a good season.
Experience and final words about Razer Orochi
The Razer Orochi is one of the best ambidextrous mice on the market that plays on high-end laptops. It has everything a high-end mouse should have: customization, excellent ergonomics, and a speed of up to 8200 DPI. Why is a mouse of this caliber so important? Because it allows us to maximize our player qualities and because it is extremely compact: 99 x 67 x 35 mm.
Among its most interesting benefits we find 7 buttons, 8200 DPI with a double sensor, an Ultrapolling of 1000 Hz and a response time of 1 ms. Everything a joy for our gamer notebook (we recommend reading the guide) .
It is not exactly cheap… with a price of 85 euros it is positioned as a top of the range mouse. And that it has nothing to envy the Razer Mamba Chrome that doubles its value considerably. Its availability is immediate and you have it available in several online stores. How about?
