Dominator Platinum are the latest DDR3 memory design from the prestigious brand Corsair. They are characterized by the combination of high frequencies (from 1600mhz to 3000mhz) and exquisite cooling. These characteristics can make it the best memory on the market.

The Dominator Platinum are presented in a foam cardboard box and protected by a blister. Its design is striking and its compatibility with XMP profiles is screen printed.

The back we have all the characteristics of the memories.

They are a total of 4 memories of 4GB DDR3 each. That make a total of 16GB.

The modules operate at 2133mhz with 9-11-10-30 2T latency and a voltage of 1.5v. Is this low voltage an amazing and very interesting thing for overclockers?

This new Platinum version of the classic Dominator comes equipped with an innovative DHX heatsink. The programs that we will use to check the performance of the Corsair Dominator Platinum @ 2133 mhz have used the following tests:

• Super PI.x264 HD Encoding Benchmark v5.0.1 64-Bit.3DMark 11.Metro 2033.AIDA64 Extreme Edition 2.60.

At the beginning of the summer we announced the launch of the new line of DDR3 Corsair Dominator Platinum memories. The most advanced memories in technology, cooling (DHX heatsink), performance, Black PCB and low voltage voltage. Currently we find it available in kits of 2 or 4 modules in different speeds. In our test bench we have tested the 4 × 4 16GB pack at 2133mhz with a high-end equipment: Intel i5 3570 processor at 4600 mhz, Asrock OC Formula motherboard and a 2GB NVIDIA GTX680 graphics card. The performance has been fantastic both in synthetic tests like 3DMARK11 with 9282 Points and in games like Metro 2033 with 72.84 FPS. All this with the XMP profile activated at 2133 mhz 9-11-10-30 and 1.5v. Another of its strong points is its DHX dissipation of aluminum fins. That as we have seen in the features comes equipped with several heatsinks, which will allow us to achieve great overclocks and aesthetics (white LEDs, interchangeable soon).
