The “ all in one ” equipment (All In One) are computers that integrate in the same monitor structure and the pieces of a complete equipment, thus reducing their size and offering us more space at our table. These teams are not usually oriented to the Gaming world but MSI wants to change course with Gaming series. Specifically, we have had in hand the MSI AG220 PE in its Spanish version with an i5 Intel haswell processor, an Nvidia GTX860M graphics card and a screen of 21, 5 ″ with Full HD resolution at a very tempting price. Technical characteristics

BundleMSI protects the device in a robust high-volume case dominated by a black background and the dragon logo. The back and front do not have much to comment, simply that the left side has all the main characteristics of the team.Once we remove all the packaging we find the following bundle:

We miss a mouse and a keyboard… right?

The MSI AG220 PE comes equipped with a 21.5 ″ screen in FULL HD 1920 × 1080 format with VA panel. The structure is plastic and black and red colors predominate throughout the surface. Accompanied by Anti-Flicker technology that reduces fatigue in our eyes for long hours and Less Blue Light than the blue light that produces retinal degeneration, cataracts in the human eye.

They have taken great care of the details and we see that it is a Gaming equipment, not very common in these systems.

The speaker system is stereo, although there is nothing new or improved to the standard, they can be heard quite well. Although I always recommend buying some singles. Headset Master disables the speaker system once we connect the headphones to the system. Using the included Sound Blaster Cinema 2 software, we can alternate the desired sound output as we please.

This specific model is the MSI Gaming AIO AG220 2PE-002XEU that incorporates a 3400 Mhz dual-core i5-4200 processor, 8 Gb of DDR3 RAM, 1TB of hard disk and an Nvidia GTX860M graphics card.

It incorporates a 2 MP camera with a camera resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

It is a very fine and thin equipment. On the right side we find the disc reader and on the left USB 2.0, control buttons and a memory card reader.

Once we look at the back we can see the reference of the all in one. It has a small support that allows us to adjust the equipment to different degrees, very useful for each of our needs. It has great flexibility!

It integrates rear D-SUB connections, power connector, HDMI x 3, USB, Gigabit LAN and audio input / output. Possibly one of its drawbacks is to find all the hidden internal connectors, where for example the USB ports and audio output could be more visible.

And here is a view of the switched on equipment. This version in particular is not tactile, but there is a counterpart with this capacity. Vision is pretty good. There are no images of the open equipment because we can not find a way to open it easily, so we recommend that if you do be very careful, any damage can make you lose the warranty.

Software and TESTS

The equipment costs a little to start up since it incorporates a mechanical hard drive, I would have liked it to include a SSD or mSATA of just 64 / 120GB that would hardly raise the cost but would give a very fresh air to the system. The All in One comes well equipped with proprietary MSI software for system synchronization with mobile devices, network management and control panel, display, etc.

As we see in the first image we have a quick capture of the characteristics of the team team. Super team with an i5-4200 processor, the guerilla 2GB GTX860M graphics card and 8GB of RAM memory installed.

Final words and conclusion.

The MSI AG220 2PE is a top- notch All-In-One with an Intel Haswell i5-4200 processor, 8GB of RAM, a GTX 860M graphics card with 2GB of memory, a 1TB at 7200 RPM with a 21.5 ″ screen with FULL HD 1920 x 1080 resolution. The analyzed model does not include a standard operating system, although there is another version that does.

Regarding the performance and gaming experience, it is quite good partly thanks to the powerful graphics card that it incorporates. If we can stretch to an i7 processor we will gain enough FPS in the games, even so we have maintained 40 FPS for Battlefield 4 and 85 FPS for Borderlans 2. For daily work, the equipment and even video or graphic editing are great.

I really liked the Anti-Flicker protections (fatigue for hours exposed to the PC) and Less Blue Light reduces blue light against diseases of retinal degeneration or cataracts of our eye.

I think that if I had incorporated a solid state hard drive or mSATA it would be the perfect equipment, as we read in the features, it allows us to install up to two hard drives in RAID 0. The price would be around 40 to 60 € that almost every user would pay to boot. in 3 seconds the equipment.

Although it does not include keyboard and mouse as standard in its accessories, MSI Iberica normally launches promotions where it is given away independently.

In short, if you are looking for a quality All in One, with good components, efficient cooling and capable of playing modern games partisan, stretch with the MSI AG220 PE and you will end up very happy. Currently in online store for an affordable price of € 899.
