MSI has decided to bring out a real beast "Gaming" with the MSI AG270 2PE with 4-core Haswell i7 processor, GTX880M graphics card , Multi-Touch capacity and 16GB of RAM. MSI presents us in a box of great volume and a high weight of 16 kg to the best All in One created in the world. On the front we have a 1: 1 scale image of the all in one and on the back the most important specifications.

The MSI AG270-PE has a spectacular design… We realize from the first moment: when we take it the first time until we upload it the "all in one". It has dimensions of 67.2 cm x 6.6 cm x 48.3 cm (Width x Depth x Height). This computer is built with excellent materials and the quality of the finishes are very good. MSI uses an aggressive line of colors: black and red that predominates in its " Gaming " series. We have both the Intel, Nvidia and MSI logos at the bottom of the box.

MSI chooses to use a 27 ″ screen with FULL HD 1920 × 1080 resolution and a “ Touch ” touch system that saves us from using the mouse and keyboard. The quality of the TN panel is quite good overall. The response time is quite good and we hardly have any input lag.

For a good screen we must be well accompanied by a processor and above all a graphics card. MSI relies on the most powerful 4th generation processor: i7-4860HQ with 4 cores and 8 threads of execution with a speed of 2.4 ghz and 6MB of cache. One of the great advantages of this processor is that it includes the powerful integrated graphics card " Iris Pro 5200 graphics " that works when the computer is at rest. When the equipment requires graphics power, the fabulous Geforce GTX880 8GB GDDR5 with Maxwell chip works, seeing it today is a real delight. Currently the most powerful for laptops and All in One.

It also has 16GB of DDR3L SODIMM memory in two 8GB modules at a speed of 1600mhz and a Killer E2205 Gigabit network card, 802.11 b / g / n wireless network card and high-speed blueotooth V.4.0.

Regarding storage, it has a 2TB 7200 RPM SATA hard drive and a 256GB SSD RAID 0 (128 × 2 - mSATA connection) from the Plextor brand and a 3 in 1 card reader.

The sound integrated a series of four 5W RMS speakers and equipped with a dedicated amplifier from the Yamaha sound specialist. Sounds luxurious!

Once we turn the computer around we see that it has a solid and transparent support. It allows us to adjust the positions to our needs, eye up to 45º degrees.

Among the rear connections we find 2 HDMI connections, a wireless antenna connection, 1 D-SUB connection, one RJ45 to connect to the network, four USB connections and audio input / output.

On the right side we have a Blu-Ray reader, while on the left the entire system control panel. A little further down we have two USB connections, a 3 in 1 card reader and the power input.

As we can see it includes an external source that seems good to me, so we avoid that the screen and the components assembled in such a small place of 6.6 cm take on more heat than that generated by an i7 and a high-end graphics card.

Software and TESTS

MSI and SplitmediaLabs joined forces relatively early to bring out a new product line with their teams. The All in One Gaming includes the new XSplit Gamecaster, a program that allows us to stream and record our games instantly. That last!

Like its younger brother The All in One AG220 comes very well equipped with proprietary MSI software for system synchronization with mobile devices, network management and control panel, display, etc…

Final words and conclusion.

The MSI AG270 2PE is about the best built All in One and components of the moment. It has an i7 4860QM processor and a dedicated 8GB GTX880M graphics card… where performance is maximum in FULL HD resolutions. Even with a 2K or 4K resolution, would you be able to defend yourself? Its design is beautiful but being a 27 ″ touch screen it has quite high dimensions: 672.23mm * 66mm * 482.96mm (Width x Depth x Height) and a weight around 16kg.

We have to highlight its Yamaha designed 5W RMS speaker system and own amplifier, which makes for a pleasant experience when we play. The playing experience has been excellent and we have played all games ultra with an average of more than 65 FPS;).

In short, if you are looking for the best All-in-One on the market, the MSI AG270 Gaming is the best in the sector, but also the most expensive with a price of € 2, 199!
